About the Founder
Canary & Grey is led by Abiha Jafri, an interior and spatial designer with a foundation in architecture. Educated at University of the Arts London, at Chelsea College of Arts and the University of Kent, her training informs a design approach grounded in spatial intelligence, proportion and material sensitivity. Her work is both intuitive and architectural — ensuring that each interior feels balanced, intentional and quietly sophisticated. Abiha originally founded Canary & Grey in London as a sustainable product design studio, recognised for transforming architectural offcuts into refined homeware. The brand was featured in British Vogue, celebrating its commitment to craftsmanship and considered design. The practice has since evolved into a focused and intimate interior design studio under the same name — carrying forward its ethos into residential spaces that are layered, timeless and deeply considered.
